Atikah dengan dukacitanya mahu memaklumkan yang Arsenal berkemungkinan kehilangan Fabregas sepanjang baki musim ini selepas keputusan x-ray mengesahkan terdapatnya keretakkan kecil di tulang fibula kaki kanan Cesc Fabregas..

Staf perubatan Arsenal menjangkakan yang Fabregas akan berehat selama sekurang-kurangnya 6 minggu.. Menurut staf perubatan Arsenal lagi, keretakkan itu berpunca daripada perlanggaran Fabregas dengan Puyol di dalam kotak penalti di mana Arsenal dihadiahkan sepakan penalti sebelum Fabregas menyempurnakannya untuk gol penyamaan..

Arsene Wenger juga memberitahu yang Andrei Arshavin dan William Gallas akan berehat selama 3 minggu akibat kecederaan calf strain.. Dan Gael Clichy dan Denilson pula 50-50 akan beraksi hujung minggu ini apabila mengalami kecederaan belakang dan groin..
