Maaf sebab lambat post pasal berita ini sebab Atikah sibuk sikit.. Cesc Fabregas telah membuat kenyataan rasmi dengan memohon maaf terhadap fans Arsenal apabila tidak memberikan sebarang komen tentang masa depannya di Arsenal.. Fabregas mengakui berminat menyertai Barcelona namun beliau menghormati setiap keputusan Arsenal menolak dua tawaran daripada Barcelona..

Fabregas juga mengakui yang beliau terhutang budi kepada Arsenal, pengurus pasukan dan juga peminat.. Fabregas berjanji akan memberikan 100% fokus terhadap Arsenal dan mengendahkan sebarang spekulasi tentang perpindahannya.. Dan Fabregas juga memberitahu segala urusan perpindahan telah pun ditamatkan.. Berikut ialah kenyataan rasmi Fabregas..

"Firstly I would like to apologise to all the Arsenal fans for not speaking sooner about my future but I have not known what I was going to do until this moment.. I cannot deny that joining a club like Barcelona was not an attractive move for me.. This was the club where I learnt my football, it is my home town where my friends and family are and a club where I have always dreamed of playing.. There are not many players in this world who would not want to play for Barcelona.."

"I have had many conversations with Arsène Wenger both in person and over the phone over the last few months and although the content of those conversations will remain private, the conclusion is that Barcelona have had two formal offers rejected by Arsenal.. I am a professional and I fully understand that it is Arsenal's prerogative not to sell me.."

Arsene Wenger jelas gembira dengan keputusan kapten pasukannya Cesc Fabregas yang masih komited dengan Arsenal walaupun mengakui berminat untuk menyertai Barcelona.. Berikut ialah kenyataan Wenger tentang keputusan Fabregas.. "He is our captain, he is our leader.. You could see yesterday in the training session how much a lift it is for everybody who loves Arsenal.."

Sementara itu berita di London melaporkan yang Arsenal bersedia untuk membuat tawaran bernilai 25 juta pound untuk mendapatkan khidmat Pepe Reina.. Namun kenyataan terbaru Wenger ini pastinya akan menafikan segala kemungkinan yang Wenger akan membeli penjaga gol baru kerana jelas Wenger masih berpuas hati dengan barisan penjaga golnya..

Wenger mengakui masih berdepan dilema untuk memilih penjaga gol nombor satunya apabila kesemuanya memberikan saingan sengit untuk posisi tersebut.. At the moment we want to play for the title so I believe he needs some more experience to compete directly for the first goalkeeper position.. But it depends a little bit.
